Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, AP Specialty Metals is a metals distributor that specializes in stainless sheet, bar and plate, and aluminum sheet, serving the southeastern United States market for over 24 years. The company focuses on processing specialty metal forms which include sheet, painted sheet, coil, plate, bar, tube and pipe, and extrusion form for the food service, production, transportation, agricultural, chemical, medical, and construction equipment and machinery industries.
Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, founded in 1855, is one of the largest metal processors and distributors in North America. The acquisition of AP Specialty Metals is expected to significantly enhance Samuel’s ability to service customers in the Southeastern U.S. and will be linked with its existing facilities in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. AP will leverage Samuel’s broad product offering, selling the full range of carbon, stainless and aluminum products to its growing customer base.
