J. Nicholas Melton
Managing Director
Nick Melton is a Managing Director within BGL’s Infrastructure & Environment team and leads the firm’s investment banking activities in the Digital Infrastructure group. Nick has nearly 30 years of M&A, restructuring, and capital markets experience across the telecommunications and digital infrastructure sector.
Nick’s expertise spans a range of subsectors, including broadband, wireless communications, data centers & managed services, towers & wireless infrastructure, and digital infrastructure services. He has advised many of the leading companies in the sector and has transaction experience across both middle market and large cap transactions.
Prior to joining BGL, Nick was a Managing Director and Head of North America at Rubicon Capital Advisors, an infrastructure focused advisory firm. Nick has held Managing Director and sector leadership positions at Lazard, Rothschild, and Greenhill. He began his career at JP Morgan as a research analyst covering Telecommunications Services.
