BGL’s Co-Chief Executive Officer and Head of the firm’s Services and Infrastructure verticals Effram Kaplan was recently quoted in an article published by Mergers & Acquisitions entitled, “Q1 Reality Check: Mid-Market M&A Stalls as Valuation Gaps Persist.”

In the article, Effram discusses the dealmaking environment in Q1 2026 and the year ahead, noting a strong desire and pent-up demand to transact but an increased challenge to do so.  He shares that hold times, buyer discipline and appetite, and pricing are all super present in the transaction equation.
