| John Tilson handles mergers & acquisitions, as well as restructuring transactions, for private equity clients and entrepreneurs, focusing mostly in the consumer products, manufacturing and business services industries. Prior to joining BGL, John was a managing director in the Investment Banking Group at Duff & Phelps LLC. He also was a director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Banc One Capital Markets in Chicago and a managing director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at First Chicago Capital Markets, founding the Detroit office for the firm in 1996. John began his investment banking career in 1990 with American National Bank & Trust Company, a subsidiary of First National Bank of Chicago. |
