Clifford M. Sladnick
Clifford Sladnick leads the firm’s investment banking activities in the Business Services sector. Mr. Sladnick’s distinguished 37-year career includes senior executive positions with leading public and private companies in the Human Resources Operations (HRO) space. He brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate development, human resources, legal, investor relations and strategic planning; having completed over $3 billion of corporate acquisitions and divestitures in the business services and outsourcing, financial services, and consumer products industries.
Prior to joining BGL, Mr. Sladnick served as President of Hampton Advisors, an advisory and consulting firm focused exclusively on the HRO industry, where he advised operating companies and private equity investors in acquisitions and divestitures, as well as corporate strategy. Sladnick’s professional experience also includes three years as Chief Administration Officer for Gevity HR (NASDQ:GVHR), a publicly-held U.S.-based professional employer organization (PEO), where he led corporate strategy, legal, investor relations, HR, compliance, planning, and M&A, including the ultimate sale of the company; Vice President of Corporate Development for Brunswick Corporation (NYSE:BC), where during his tenure he led a transformation of the company through 9 divestitures and 16 acquisitions and joint ventures; nine years as Senior Vice President and General Counsel with St. Paul Bancorp, Inc. (NASDQ:SPHC); nine years as a Corporate Partner with McDermott, Will & Emery; and two years as a Managing Director with Dresner Partners.
