BGL Announces Global M&A Transaction in Industrials

Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL), the United States office of Global M&A, together with its Italian partner, Cross Border, today announced the sale of a majority equity stake in Tower Light S.r.l (Tower Light) to Ambienta SGR S.p.A (Ambienta), a private equity group based in Milano, Italy and focused on the environmental sector. Cross Border served as exclusive financial advisor to Tower Light. Ambienta acquired 82 percent of the outstanding shares of Tower Light in the transaction.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Villanova d’Ardenghi, Italy, Tower Light is a leading producer of lighting towers in Europe. The company’s products include manual, hydraulic, special, and LED lighting towers which are mobile standalone units that are utilized for areas requiring effective temporary lighting, with applications in the construction, mining, rail, airport, and event industries. Tower Light is regarded as the technological leader in its markets, and energy efficiency is one of the hallmarks of its products. The company holds an estimated 30 percent share of the European market and sells its products in more than 50 countries.
